Dr. Constantinos Parpounas graduated from The Charles University Prague in 2009. He has worked in Cyprus, Greece and United Kingdom, receiving higher surgical training at Nicosia General Hospital, Henry Dunant Medical Centre Athens and Hammersmith Hospital London. He successfully completed his postgraduate studies in Health Care Management in 2015 and has been board certified as a General Surgeon since 2018.

Dr. Parpounas is highly involved in Thyroid Cancer management and has been trained in both, conventional and minimally invasive Endocrine Surgery, by leading surgeons of the field such as Prof. Fausto Palazzo and Prof. Neil Tolley in London, UK. In the year 2019, he completed his training in TOETVA: Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach. In 2022, he was awarded the international title of Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (FEBS) in Neck Endocrine Surgery.

He is an active member of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons and the Hellenic Society of Endocrine Surgeons.

Dr. Parpounas is located at the Evangelistria Medical Centre offering all services related to Neck Endocrine Surgery, including Total Thyroidectomy, Parathyroidectomy (both, localized and four-gland exploration), functional Neck Dissection, etc.
