I have obtained my medical degree (MD) as a doctor of medicine at the University of Athens, Greece, in 2004.

During my academic years I successfully secured a scholarship due to my high ranking entrance examination result. Following a one-year internship at Pafos General Hospital I was accepted as a full time resident in internal medicine at Chaim Sheba Medical Center of Tel-Hashomer in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In 2008 I continued as a full time resident in gastroenterology. Through the six years of my training I successfully fulfilled all the tasks, clinical or academic, set to me during my rotations in all units of the department, gaining excellent practice and knowledge in all gastrointestinal and hepatology procedures including upper and lower endoscopies, capsule endoscopy, Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placements, stents, dilations, to name a few, and passed with high scores the specialization exams of the Greek Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2013.

I returned to Cyprus in 2013 and have been seeing patients at American Medical Center in Nicosia and at Iasis Hospital in Pafos. I pride myself on my patient-centered quality of care and place great emphasis on communication with my patients.

My belief is that health is the result of a multifactorial process including active lifestyle, digestive health and proper dietary habits. I always view and treat each one of my patients like family. My greatest concern is always for the well-being of each patient that puts their trust in me.
