Mr Stelios hadjichristofis, did his specialty in Orthopedics at Medical school of the university of the Witwatersrand. He did his rotation in five academic Hospitals in Johannesburg – JHB General Hospital, Baragwanath Hospital, J.G. Strydom Hospital, Hilbrow Hospital, Coronation Hospital. Then he worked as consultant in the Johannesburg General Hospital for the following five years and at the same time he did his thesis (Master degree) and also fellowships in Arthroscopic surgery, Arthroplasty and level one trauma as he perfected his skills in Trauma, in Arthroscopy, in Arthroplasty and foot and hand Surgery. He was also a senior lecturer in the Medical school of WITS University. In those years he also did diplomas in Research, ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), Robotic knee arthroplasty and at later stage custom-made knee replacement. He also wrote the Greek exams for basic degree and Orthopedic degree for recognition in Greece. After that he worked in Private Hospital in Johannesburg for 12 years in one of the biggest referral hospitals – Milpark of NETCARE group. Overall he spent 25 years overseas before he came back to Cyprus and start working in 2012 in Apollonion. Now he moves to AMC (American Medical center.
