Mr Poullis studied at University College London Medical School (1997-2003), gaining his MBBS and also a BSC hons. in pharmacology. After graduating he continued to work in the major hospitals in London, including: UCLH, St Mary’s, Royal London, The Royal Marsden, St Bartholomew’s, Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospital.

He gained experience in all aspects of Urology, such as stone surgery at St Barts. and cancer surgery at the world renowned Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital. Having completed training in the speciality of Urology, he gained his Fellow status with the Royal College of Surgeons and went on to University College London Hospital and studied a sub-specialty, Andrology and Male fertility alongside the world leading surgeons in this field. During this time he completed both the American Medical Systems/ Boston Scientific and Coloplast Fellowships.

As a doctor, Mr Poullis has obtained a number of  international publications and presented lectures at several international meetings, winning the Best Presentation Award, twice.

He was a Consultant Urologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital before returning back to Cyprus after 21 years, in the middle of 2018.
