Dr Kyriacou obtained his bachelor in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Manchester  in 2005.

He was awarded his Certificate of Completion (CCT) of training in 2014 in General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Diabetes. He has worked as a Consultant in Endocrinology at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. During the period of 2014-2015 he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Thyroid diseases in the North West of England.

He has since been awarded a fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP). He is currently working in the private sector in Cyprus since late 2015. Dr Kyriacou has completed a Masters degree (MA) in Post-Graduate Medical Education in 2018.

He has published over 30 articles in various peer-reviewed journals. Since 2018 he has also been awarded a scientific fellowship with the Public Health department of the Cyprus University of Technology.
